The Edges of Light

I just finished reading Dave Delnea’s new book Below the Horizon, Understanding Light at the Edge of Day. If you are interested in taking landscape photos at day break or sunset, this is a must read. The book is full of great information about camera settings, what to expect, and what gear you will need.

Like any photographer, with a desire to learn, I set out last night and applied Dave’s ideas. Needless to say the results were wonderful. You have to work fast and have a good understanding of your camera. After 25 or so shots and many changes to my camera, these are the results.  Thanks Dave for the inspiration, knowledge, and your gift of sharing.
